LINWOOD, Pa. -- Foamex International Inc., a leading manufacturer of flexible polyurethane and advanced polymer foam products, has appointed Theodore J. (Terry) Kall, 60, executive vice president of Foamex International Inc. and president of the company's carpet cushion business. Kall will also serve on the Foamex Operating Committee.

This is a return engagement for Kall, who headed the company's carpet cushion business from 1995 through 1998. Kall joined General Felt Industries (GFI) in 1974 and served in various sales, marketing and product management positions before being named vice president of Sales and Marketing in 1980. When GFI became part of Foamex in 1993, Kall was appointed national accounts manager for the carpet cushion business. He was promoted to president of the carpet cushion business in 1995. Kall replaces Kurt Werth, who resigned in December.

GFI, which markets Foamex’s carpet cushion, is one of the company's four major business operations and is a leading manufacturer and distributor of carpet cushion in North America. GFI represents more than 20% of total Foamex sales.
