Valinge Innovation has signed a global license agreement with Cikel Brasil Verde Madeiras LTDA, a Brazilian manufacturer of wood floors, for use of Valinge's 2G mechanical locking system. Cikel owns more than one million acres of timberland, is FSC certified, and has representatives and offices in Brazil, the U.S. and Europe.

”Valinge sees this agreement as a first step to a long-term partnership and cooperation with Cikel," said Darko Pervan, president of Valinge. "We believe there is an increasing global market for Brazilian wood flooring products and in combination with our 2G mechanical locking system we think that Cikel will be successful."
