Husqvarna Construction Products has chosen to consolidate its two tile brands, Husqvarna and Felker, into one brand under the Husqvarna name. The Felker name was phased out Jan. 1, the company said today.

"The decision to discontinue the name and unite both tile lines was made to create a stronger brand and cut down on confusion between the lines," the company said. "A united tile line will enable Husqvarna to focus on product development, service and support and become even stronger in these areas."

Starting this year, many former Felker products will begin to appear in the marketplace under the Husqvarna brand. Several Felker products will not be carried over "to allow research and development to center on core tile products," according to the company.
