NeoCon 2010 set for June 14-16

Products at NeoCon will include a wide range of categories, including flooring, lighting and furnishings.


NeoCon World’s Trade Fair returns to Chicago’s Merchandise Mart, June 14-16, for its 42nd year. The three-day show is set to draw more than 40,000 industry professionals from around the world, including more than 700 manufacturers in commercial, residential, health care, hospitality, institutional and government design.

Products will once again span a wide range of categories, including architectural products, artwork and accessories, building products and services, fabric, floor coverings, furnishings, kitchen and bath, lighting, outdoor furniture, stone and tile, sustainable design products, technology, textiles and wall coverings.

A new Career Development Educational Track has been added to the educational course schedule to assist industry professionals who are looking for a job or trying to secure their current position. NeoCon will also feature top-name keynote speakers each day of the conference, including: Michael Graves, architect and founder of Michal Graves & Associates and Michael Graves design group; Majora Carter, former executive director and founder of the non-profit Sustainable South Bronx; and Yves Behar, industrial designer and founder of fuseproject.

In addition to show components such as The Lighting Pavilion and GREENlife, NeoCon will welcome the debut of Buildex Chicago, geared toward the building and property management industry, Buildex Chicago will offer the latest products and strategic solutions and strategies to help manage and operate buildings more efficiently and effectively, NeoCon said.
