Healthier Choice Flooring has acquired Flexitions LLC, manufacturer of the Flexitions stainable flexible transition molding product line. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“Healthier Choice is constantly striving to improve its existing product lines while introducing new and innovative products for the flooring industry,” said Craig Poteet, Healthier Choice's president. “We are very excited about the recent acquisition. Flexitions is a revolutionary product that not only solves a specific installation challenge but also allows for unlimited creativity in flooring design.”

Drew Holland, Healthier Choice's marketing manager, noted that the company will fully support the Flexitions line. “To further propel market penetration and consumer awareness, Healthier Choice will introduce a new Flexitions marketing program that includes advertising, sample kits, POP fixtures and an enhanced online presence,” he said. “Just like with other Healthier Choice products, we are committed to the continued growth and development of Flexitions.”

Developed for use with hardwood and laminate flooring applications, Flexitions is designed for easy use when encountering a curve, arch or radius. Available in t-molding, threshold, reducer, stair nose and quarter round profiles, Flexitions can be stained and finished to match and/or coordinate floor coverings such as wood, laminate, tile, vinyl and stone.

Flexitions is available in three natural wood grains and textures. Flexitions is also available in standard factory applied colors; called Flexitions Fifteen, these standard colors coordinate with the majority of wood flooring sold today.
