The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) is now accepting resumes for the standards and development administration position. The Executive Committee and Board of Directors have elected to make this position a full-time job. Applications will be accepted for a full-time employee or a full-time contractor from interested persons or firms.

The standards and development administrator will play a crucial role representing the IICRC, with participation from the entire industry, to set standards for inspection, cleaning and restoration. Job responsibilities include: further developing and administering Standards Development Organization (SDO) activities, serving as a liaison to strategically significant IICRC technical committees, advancing IICRC objectives with the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), serving as standards liaison to identified industries and or government agencies and providing organizational support to the technical committees in the development of standards.

Interested parties may visit the IICRC website for more information about the job opening and how to apply. Individuals interested in applying need to submit a resume, cover letter with salary requirements and preference for employee or independent contractor, and a writing sample relating to standards work. Companies should submit additional information, which can be found in the job description. Applications are due October 4, 2010 by 5 p.m. Central time and should be submitted to Patrick Winters, President, at president@iicrc.org.
