The Floor Covering Business to Business Association (fcB2B) recently held its fourth annual meeting in Atlanta. Attendees said the group is making “great strides” toward the utilization of B2B technology in the industry.

Aaron Pirner, fcB2B's president, said he was impressed by the tenor of the meeting. “The participants were in force and engaged in the work at hand,” he said. “Several firms sent multiple delegates, a quarter of which were first time attendees. It was a very positive, informative and productive meeting.”

Pam Bowe, executive director and CEO of the group, agreed the attendees were focused and positive. “Much progress is being made on the expansion, refinement and usability of the product price catalog component, which will continue to benefit both current and future users of fcB2B software in their businesses.”

The purpose of the fcB2B association is to foster the utilization of electronic data interchange (EDI) in the floor covering industry and to act as a facilitator to ensure the process is trouble free and to improve productivity. The organization is governed by a Board of Directors.  D. Christopher Davis, president and CEO of the World Floor Covering Association, is Chairman of the Board.  For more information, visit www.fcb2b.org.
