Beaulieu International Group, the parent company of Alloc and Berry Floor, has settled its patent and contract disputes with Faus Group over the use of certain laminate flooring technologies. As part of the agreement, both Beaulieu International and Faus said they agreed to dismiss any legal actions pending against each other.

"The parties have found a mutual beneficial solution that recognizes their respective rights and Faus' patent portfolio that will allow Berry to continue to use Faus' surface technologies for laminate flooring," said Bengt Rasin, president and CEO of Alloc and Berry Floor USA, in a statement.

Other terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
